YHC was not a part of the initial launch of F3Greenwood in 2015 but was honored to be a part of the Co-Q as we celebrate 5 years of F3 in Greenwood. YHC has been a part of this thing we call F3 for a little over 2 years thanks to an invite from Sunshine and I will be forever grateful for this but YHC will expound on this later in the BB, so make sure to read to the end. It was a Co-Q effort by Duggar, DixieChick, and YHC. We wanted to visit some places that were unique to the Epicenter and deliver a BC worthy of 5 years and we hope we delivered for the 30 PAX who got out of the fartsack on this beautiful Saturday morning and made the trip over to where it all started, the Epicenter.
Disclaimer was given and off we went wit 3 shovel flags in hand to the open area by the tennis courts.

Awesome turnout out this morning. YHC loves convergences and has loved this past week as there was only one AO open everyday. There’s something about being in the gloom 20 or 30 strong which is so awesome. YHC hopes that we can build on this week and this becomes the norm, rather than the exception.
YHC is honored to be the new Nantan of F3Greenwood. If you would allow me some space to reflect, here are my reflections. If you don’t care, to bad, I’m going to do it anyways. YHC had no idea what was in store by posting for this thing called F3 when Sunshine sent YHC the invite a little more than 2 years ago. YHC didn’t think that getting up at 4:30 would become the norm and along with that going to bed much to the M’s chagrin at 9:30 every night but there was just something about this group of men that made it all worth it and continues to make it all worth it everyday. YHC wasn’t in awful physical shape 2 years ago but to see where F3 and the support of you all have taken me is incredible. Running a Spartan was one of those things YHC always wanted to do but was always fearful but YHC did that because of the support of this group. Running a 100 KM relay race was something that YHC would have never dreamed of, but again that’s been done. Running 48 miles in 48 hours is ludicrous and 2 years ago never gonna happen, but that’s been done. So many things have been accomplished physically that YHC never would’ve dreamed of without you guys and for that YHC is grateful. But aside from the physical part, it’s the brotherhood that brought YHC back. The male companionship, having a group of men that YHC knows has my back when YHC needs it. That is invaluable. That is worth more than doing a Murph, Spartan, or some crazy running idea that Tweeter comes up with. That is what makes F3 great. And YHC wants more men in Greenwood to feel this. Enough rambling for one day, YHC leaves this because it expresses my feelings more than YHC can. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
Until next time,
BenGay
