Perfect weather, 55 degrees, no rain.  Disclaimer given (possibly).  No time for warmups, except 10 dips or 25 merkins, (I can’t remember).

Mosey to the coupon cage, every pax grabs 2 coupons.  And off we go for 1 DOG lap around the epicenter.

This is what we did:

Starting in a clockwise direction, leaving the coupons behind, all pax run (or mosey, possibly jog) out to about 100-150 yards200 yards.  When all pax arrive at the designated stopping point, each pax does 25 merkins and 25 of an ab exercise of their choice.  Then all pax mosey or whatever back to the coupons and perform 10 dips.  We then yank up the coupons and farmers carry then until the leader for that turn stops.  (each pax took a turn leading the farmers carry march).  When the leader stops, YHC leads the pax out on another mosey continuing in clock wise direction around the main epicenter path for about 150 or so yards, and repeat the 25 merkins and 25 ab exercises.  Then back to the coupons, another 10 dips, another farmers carry to another spot.  Continue to rinse and repeat until we make it back to the coupon cage at 6am.  Return coupons, mosey back to where the flag would normally be.

NMS:  It was great having Crayola today.  Not only does he complete workouts at a rapid pace, he can open the lock on the coupon cage at a rapid pace also.  No delays here.  My old eyes can’t read them tiny numbers.

I was walking Lucy (my dog) the other day, I was wondering how much ground she actually covers during a mile walk.  To clarify, I walk a mile, but she is not on a leach, so she will run out in front of me a good ways, then I will call her back.  If she doesn’t come back when I call, I will press the button on the controller and send a vibration to her collar and she will hi-tail it back.  So, while I am walking a mile, she continues to run out in front, and continuously  circles back to me.  I thought to myself, that she was getting a much better workout than I was.  So, I came up with the 1 DOG lap workout idea.  Today we got in over 2 DOG miles on our 3/4 mile trek.

The farmers carry was really working on Polly, slowed down from recent forearm surgery.  It slowed him down until it became his time to lead us out.  I think he was really trying to complete the lap on his own.  After a few re-grips (which really wasn’t allowed) he finally stopped.

Tickle continues to lead from the front at every boot camp.

Hulk makes sure he gets full range of motion on the dips by banging his butt on the ground.

Scrum is working hard and is dedicated to improving himself and pushing the other pax.

It was great to have an FNG, where the name came from…….well, from what I hear, you had to be a dam runner to get it.

Until next time- BabyBlu is out!
