F3 Greenwood

An unprecedented 38 PAX including three FNGs emerged from their #FartSacks, took the #RedPill and joined YHC for a #Problematic #DownPainMent Tuesday morning at the #Epicenter! There was some #MumbleChatter early, but when the PAX were introduced to my former comrade, Griff, the chatter ceased and the #Merlot splashed!

CoP

  • SSH x 25 IC
  • Merkins x 15 IC

Count off 1s and 2s. The “2” to the “1’s” left is his battle buddy. The two must stay together AT ALL TIMES during the workout. Your will keep your buddy’s behind safe and vice versa

Junkyard Dog warm-up (Click here for a great video)

The Thang

  • Indian Run around to the hill. Stay with your buddy!
  • Mini-Jacob’s Ladder
    • TOP – Ascending ladder 1 to 5 burpees
    • BOTTOM – Descending ladder 5 to 1 slider crunches

Mosey to baseball field

GRIFF

Run 800m (2 laps around cones) forward then 400m backward. Repeat. Plank for the six. Flossy decided planking wasn’t good enough and added in some extra torture for the PAX!

6 min AMRAP

One partner works at a time:

  • P1 bear crawls to far cone. Burpee broad jump back. Flapjack.

Mosey back to flag.

CoT

  • Count-o-rama
  • Name-o-rama

We welcomed three FNGs this morning: Knothead (Dillon Holliday), Radar (Thomas Moore) and Billy Ho (Craig Williams).

Flossy encouraged the PAX to get on Twitter. W use Twitter to communicate, particularly last minute changes. Follow @F3Greenwood!

Coffin’s boss is having complications with surgery.

Pacer and 2.0s are travelling to Pennsylvania. YHC implored him to not return with any Yankees…

Boo! (so named because he is a college hoops official. Go ahead, scream at him now. You know you want to!) has an opportunity to try out for five different D1 conferences in Kentucky. Good luck, Boo! We promise to deny you if you make a bad call on national TV! (Just kidding…)

YHC’s son continues to have issues with his injured ankle. He will likely miss his senior season of basketball due to the injury. Continued prayers appreciated.

Moleskin

All PAX did a great job honoring USAF SSgt. Travis Griffin who was KIA in 2008 by an IED. YHC had the honor and privilege of knowing Griff briefly and having my money taken during several games of poker by one of our great nation’s heroes.

T-Claps to Capri, Boy George and Half-Stitch who were all hobbled by sore hamstrings courtesy of McLovin and CornStache this past Saturday. Half-Stitch, who was unable to run at all, did crunches while his brothers ran.

YHC noted a lot of mumble chatter during the mosey from the hill to the baseball field. The problem was corrected at the baseball field after Griff. Griff was followed by Cagney’s daily #MerlotSplash. T-Claps, Cagney. You’re the only guy YHC knows that splashes at every workout and still keeps going.

T-Claps to Judge Hairy who has clearly embraced “Never Quit” as a lifestyle. An inspiration to all the PAX of F3 Greenwood.

T-Claps to all the PAX of F3 Greenwood! Our workouts have become very #Problematic and #Starfish discussions are taking place. YHC is honored to know such a great group of men!
