Devotion: Unanswered Prayers. Sometimes the best thing that can happen to us is for God to not give us what we want. That is not always easy to accept, and can lead to frustration or anger, but the truth is that, like a father is to a child sometimes the child has to be told no when they ask for something. God tells us no because he knows where he needs us to go, and what it will take to get us there.
