F3 Greenwood

Conditions- 65° and a cool breeze

I rolled in at 5:13 (because it is all the way across town) just in time for the 1 minute warning and disclaimer. Both were given. There were already discussions that I may not make it. Polly immediately started to find a modification for SSH before I even called them. Polly did Imperial Walkers while the rest of us did the following:

20 SSH IC

20 LBAC’s front and back

Enough of that……

Head to the coupon cage. Once we got there, I said to grab 2 coupons, and boy did the mumblechatter ensue. What is a pain train without the pain?? Farmer carry the coupons to the center. Might I add, that is one loooong farmer carry! The lights are all off, but we had just enough light from a window to get the job done. Here is what happened:

Announcements- Epicenter workout Saturday. Meals on Wheels 5K Saturday.

Prayer requests- Judge Hairy dealing with injury from falling off of a bunk bed at camp, Boy George and Flossy traveling. Polly still excited about his Batman implants (dental implants, that is).

BOM- YHC prayed us up

NMM- I didn’t plan anything mobile for today just in case the bottom fell out. Since it wasn’t raining, we stayed stationary but out under the stars. The Q sheet was blank this week, so I told the AOQ and runner extraordinaire, BenGay, that I would be honored to take the Q for Tuesday. Yes, BenGay has been holding out on his F3 brothers that the boy can run. He claims he didn’t lie about it, and that he just decided not to speak of it. I call that lying, but that’s just me. Half our PAX this morning are in the revered Respect class of athletes. No excuses were made. Work was done. There was some moaning and groaning, but no breaks. These guys gave 100%. When I called recover, there was a unanimous “Already?” I took that as time flies when you’re having fun. For every farmer carry we did, it seemed like that building kept getting bigger and bigger. By the time we got back to the coupon cage, you could bounce quarters off our forearms. I always enjoy a solid Epicenter workout. I hope that I delivered an Epicenter worthy beatdown. I had more goodies on the sheet, but hey, we’re not at Fury. Thank you guys for showing up and sharing the gloom with me. I left better than I arrived. I hope the same for you.

Southern Belle is hanging up……..
