21 Pax posted at the Epicenter ready for a beatdown…and it came! The few PAX that came extra early were blessed with the chance to move 28 cinder blocks into position on The Circuit!
Plunger led us in the:
COP
SSH 20x IC
Boxcutters 15x IC
Merkins 12x SC
Alternating Shoulder Taps 15x IC
Little Baby Arm Circles 15x frontwards and backwards IC
LBC 20x IC
Squats 15x SC
Plunger then handed the reigns over to Duggar and the sweatfest began! What follows is a workout brought on by a challenge from my good buddy Bagger Vance of F3Nashville.
The THANG consisted of 7 stations (suppossed to be 8, however no one slacked…it was hard grinding the whole way, just ran out of time) on a circuit around the Epicenter.
STATION 1: 25 Pull Ups OYO
STATION 2: 50 Overhead block presses. Plunger and Duggar each led 25 SC. On occassion leaving the blocks above the PAX head a little longer than they would have liked…at least that’s what was gathered based on the cries of pain.
STATION 3: 75 Lunges OYO
STATION 4: 100 LBC OYO
STATION 5: 150 Plank Jax. This was accomplished by the PAX following Duggar through 75 IC PJ. It was obvious pain had set in by this point. Duggar tried to quit after 50…his faithful brothers (CAPRI!) would have NONE OF IT!
STATION 6: 200 Merkins OYO. To build the esprit de corps, those who finished “early” went to the side of their brothers and carried on until we, as a group, completed those 200 NASTY merkins!
STATION 7: 250 Mtn Climbers OYO. Again, PAX siding with others to finish this gruelling task. My Swiss uncle’s got nothing on F3Greenwood!
(to be completed another day): STATION 8: 300 SQUATS OYO.
Mucsle failure was followed by:
COT
Count-a-rama: 21 PAX. Name-a-rama: 1 FNG, welcome WaterBoy! Let’s keep JuggarNaut’s son in our prayers. Fabio has a friend needing a healing touch from above. Asking God to open door(s) for more growth in the 3rdF. Duggar challenged PAX from 1 Timothy 4:8, the body, no matter how in shape it may be, will one day be greeted by Coffin (that’s of course if he’s still in the business) and that our real focus should be on godliness.
OORAH!
