Two years. It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long. On June 5th, 2015, the longest distance I had run in nearly twenty years had been from my car to the main courtroom on a day I was late to court. The heaviest thing I had lifted during that time had been some furniture, but had to rest and catch my breath after each piece. I mostly wore slip on shoes, because it was too hard to bend over and tie my shoelaces.
Then, on June 6th, 2015, everything changed.
For today’s Q, I wanted to go back to the early days of F3 Greenwood, so I’ve tried to come up with an old school beatdown in honor of when I started.

Devotion:
I’ve experienced a lot of changes since June 6, 2015. A few were for the bad, but far more for the good. We have to remember that change takes time, that it is an evolution, not a revolution. If we are to fulfill God’s plan for our lives, we need to be intentional about our choices. One of those choices may be to get out of bed early and do some hard work with men who will push you to be better. Life is not one event, but a series of small moments that shape how our time will pass. There will be a time to break down, but also a time to build up. A structure is not built from one piece, but many pieces, placed with intention and purpose.
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep,, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ESV
