Conditions:
Who ever said “It never rains at 0515” is a liar.
It rained. It was also the second day in a row that the temperature gauge read 69*F.
What We Did:
We ran or rucked cause that’s what we do when we meet at Starbucks before they open.
We were not motivated to be out in the rain this morning (some among us don’t like how wet our shoes get when running in the rain) but we are a disciplined bunch and Discipline > Motivation.
This Statusbrew blog post – Why Self Discipline Is Better than Motivation – does a much better job of explaining why and how to attain discipline than I ever could. Here’s a short excerpt if clicking the above link makes you say “tldr”.

Just because you’re fast and can get your mileage in and still be back before COT doesn’t mean you get a free pass to show up late. We see you Tweeter.
Sometimes it does rain at 0515 and that’s okay. We get up and run or workout anyway because we are disciplined.
It is hard to stay focused on the task at hand. It is easy to be distracted by the things of this world. We saw this happen this morning during COT.
