NMM- had a crew of studs along for the ride this morning. Uncle Jesse needed to get a run in and didn’t want the mobile Bootcamp to go to the wayside, so I volunteered to lead. I had a route in mind that Uncle Jesse ran a few weeks back with a few extras thrown in the mix. It was completely unscripted, so a few of the details above could be skewed. Pusher was an HC last night. He made it about 60 yards and broke right headed toward the fountain. He was strutting some snazzy new Hoka’s and heard that we may make a stop by the prison yard. I had even promised no sprints. Well, sprints were now back in my tool box. The back pedal up Fury Rd was a crowd pleaser and a quad smoker. Probably not the best thing to start a mobile Bootcamp, but I’m sure we’ve done far more stupid things than that. The first 2 or 3 box jumps at the Lander fire pit reminded me that I should probably give a disclaimer. Not that anyone would throw a back out or faceplant, but it never hurts to say one. These are not your average benches. No rabbit jumping here, as Sugar put it. I do like this route. There is so much of Lander to explore. As usual, Crayola was looking for extra work while the rest of us normal PAX were trying to complete the prescribed work. Great to have Sugar along side us this morning. He invited Tootsie Roll and Encinoman to share a light pole for calf raises and got rejected. Sugar, being very comfortable with his pole working skills, didn’t seem to be offended. Foreclosure and I did not mind at all sharing a pole. Crayola and Tootsie Roll made the final leg look easy peasy. Me and Sugar held up the middle, and Encinoman and Forecloser were in full conversation mode behind us the whole way back. Solid performances by all. Looking forward to next time.
