Devotion:  James 1:19-20   19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
Anger is a tricky emotion for men.  When channeled properly, anger can motivate us to bring about changes.  Some channel their anger into productive pursuits, like exercise, taking up a political cause, or supporting charitable works that seek to end an injustice or a wrong.  However, anger can also be destructive, as in our anger, we sometimes strike out at those we love and care about the most, including our wives, girlfriends, children, and families.  Our challenge is channel our anger in productive ways, and not to turn it on those who do not deserve our anger.
Prayer Requests: Dixie Chick, continued recovery
