Since the inception of Fury in February, Qs have elected to head east out of the AO. YHC has been eyeing some nice terrain to the west of the AO and decided today was the day we would go exploring. Three pax joined YHC for the discovery session and did not leave disappointed.
This was also one of those cases where much more was planned by YHC totally underestimated how much bear crawling downhill sucks. #TheMoreYouKnow
This is how it went down:
Mosey down Fury Road to Chick-fil-A
- 20-15-10-5 reps of box jumps, dips and decline merkins
Mosey up Birchtree Drive to the empty building on left.
- Mosey up to wall behind building, 5 decline merkins
- Mosey around the building back to the road, 1 monkey humper
- Decrease merkins by 1, increase monkey humpers by 1 every lap
- Here it was noted that the pax should give the Days Inn across the street a very wide berth. Apparently, you become automatically addicted to meth if you stray too close. #TheMoreYouKnow
Mosey further up Birchtree and behind the lovely brick building where Fury’s own version of the Concrete Monster awaits.
- Sprint up the hill, bear crawl down each time #CrowdPleaser
- 5 burpees at the top, 1 squat at the bottom
- Decrease burpees by 1, increase squats by 1 each lap
Mosey up to Fuji Express.
- Wheel o’ Merkin on the curb. 1 incline merkin, 1 merkin with right hand and right foot on the curb, 1 decline merkin, 1 merkin with left hand and left foot on the curb.
- Repeato x 5
Mosey over to Easy’s (or whatever restaurant YHC’s favorite club has become!)
- 20 merkins
Mosey to South State Bank at Laurel Avenue.
- 20 LBCs
Mosey down to road leading into Fury.
- 20 LBCs
Mosey to pull-up bars
- 21-15-9 reps of pull-ups, dips and merkins
Count, Name, BoM
That was one heck of a workout in all the humidity. YHC had planned to head down to Junior for a third Jacob’s Ladder, but even a full hour was not enough time to make the trip. Maybe next time.
Jugz Out!
