10 PAX decided to join YHC at the Epicenter for his VQ in the gloom this morning and i think its safe to say we all left better for it…
The conditions were slightly cool and clear and dry for a change.
Despite YHC being slightly nervous, the disclaimer was remebered and stated and we went to work.

UncleBuck “devo”….YHC pointed out that like his workout, life too can be a little chaotic… in that chaos, you need to focus on a “center” (God, blessings, kids, wife, task at hand, etc.) remain calm and push through the chaos… it will be better on the other side
Announcements: Assault, Whetstone, Mud run x2, Relay for Life, Connie Max campout
praise report: Kobayashi’s mother got some much needed better news
prayer request: there are many…PAX, family, friends….we lift them all up to You, Sky Q
Nothing gets YHC more emotional than a good story about kids….we got one this morning…Bojangles updated us on life telling us about the adoption of Auggie, their son from the Ukraine….this had been an ongoing process that was recently finalized and none too soon. Auggie was malnourished, neglected, grossly under weight and near death….he was 4.5 years old weighing a little over 7 lbs….thats not a typo, 7 lbs….He is here in the states now doing much better, getting his weight up and getting healthier and most importantly being loved and cared for. They have a long way to go and always need many prayers but wow! what a story….thats why we’re in the gloom, to get better, so that as better men we will make an impact on someones life in the chaos…Bojangles certainly made an impact on my life today
i can not express what a pleasure it is to be associated with the men of F3
