YHC wanted to celebrate everyone’s birthday, since some were feeling left out Tuesday when it was all about Sugar. So we did a little SPARing. Each PAX in the COT gave the day of the month they were born. For instance, YHC was born on the 15th of June, so all the PAX celebrated my birthday by doing:
15 Squats w/coupon
15 overhead Presses
15 Arm curls
15 Rows (bend over)
Then, all PAX sprinted from the goal line to the 50 and back.
We celebrated each PAX birthday in this manner. Mumble chatter peaked when PAX birthday was in the high 20’s!
While YHC did not add all birthdays together, YHC is certain 250+ of each exercise was performed by the PAX. In addition to the 1500 yards of sprints.
Most time had expired and only 9 minutes remained so YHC shifted plans to a MARY session let by a few PAX. Flossy began with a continued celebration of his 40th birthday, with 40 flutter-kicks in cadence, followed by Pro-Tem with 40 LBCs. Roundup chose to Plank with a delayed 40 count, and Blueprint chose the crowd pleaser, 15 man makers OYO. YHC took over for the last exercise, everyone on their back for Coupon presses IC. When YHC passed the 40 count (80 actual presses), midwife noises resonated from the PAX, so YHC stopped at 50. Some PAX questioned if YHC was just counting cadence, YHC assured them he was doing the exercises (not whirlyboying) and headed to 57 (for birthday celebration) but cut it short for PAX sake. Great work by all! An honor to Q this group.
