• YHC explains, before the SSH ensue, “this will be XL”. I believe a little warning helps the mind. 120 SSH, the calves were burning. When we finished that up, YHC calls next exercise ‘Merkins’, looks at LiteBrite who says, “we gonna do 60 of these?” Great idea LiteBrite! Why yes we are!
• When the COP was over and the command to grab coupons and make your way to Junior was given, YHC asked Mr Belding and Governor “y’all ever been to Junior?” “Never heard of him” I think was the reply. Oh, he will make an impression, trust me.
• In keeping with the norm, when we arrived at Junior UncleBuck sheds his shirt and wrings out 3 gallons of sweat! The brother is obviously hydrated! And, he had already ran 3 miles!
• I bring this next point up only because i remember being EXACTLY where they are now. After the group arrives at Junior YHC looks around, “hey where are Governor and Mr. Belding!” I think that’s them, those black dots off in the distance. Carrying that extra 30lbs on your shoulder a half mile or so plays on the mind and body. You men, Mr Belding and Governor, have my respect! Keep pushing yourselves! You’ll be leaders in this band of brothers!
•  YHC gets the pax going. Junior, there is just no other way to describe him other than, “he sucks!” Meter Maid put it at 7 on the suck-o-meter. Another reference to perfection!
• Meter Maid and YHC’s goal on Junior, DON’T LET LITEBRITE LAP US!! Dang it, LiteBrite just lapped us. And Uncle Jesse was close.
