Around 7:30 last night, I received a check from Sugar, who had the Q for today. He informed me that his wife had to go into work early, so he asked if I could cover the Q for him. I gladly accepted. So, I took his Q and he will take my Q that is scheduled for Saturday, May 28th.
14 PAX came to the Shipyard looking to get better. YHC perused a few BackBlasts (you know that if you have the App, they are all in one place… right, Pusher?) and came up with a little workout.
Conditions: I’m not sure, but it was kinda warm, but not too much.
At 5:15, YHC grabbed the flag and asked the men to “follow me.” Rather than heading to the field or the concrete monster, YHC planted the flag on an island where the cars get into the pick up line. Seemed like a good spot for 14 people. We circled up and began.
A proper disclaimer was given by YHC

THE THANG
Exercise 1
Partner up. Each team will do 50 Burpees, 100 Merkins and 150 Squats. Partner 1 does work while Partner 2 runs the Oval Shaped drive way, which is the pick up line. (Note, we initially only had 13, so YHC was working alone. But, right as the exercise began, Uncle Buck appeared out of nowhere).
Exercise 2: 10 minute Individual 21-15-9
Round 1:
21 BB Sit Ups
15 American Hammers (1 each side)
9 V ups
Then run a lap around the pick up lane. Repeato for 10 minutes.
Round 2:
21 Lunges (1 per leg)
15 Jungle Boi Squats
9 Plank Jacks
Then run a lap around the pick up lane. Repeato for 10 minutes.
We ended with 20 Monkey Humpers (at Mr. Bean’s request, since a few teachers were hanging out in the parking lot)

○ Great to see a lot of our “newer” faces returning – Wolverine, Mr. Belding, Kool-Aid to name a few. Always good to see some guys returning after their first post!
○ Also good to see Handy Manny back in action. He’s had some knee issues, but I assured him that we had many injured PAX and we can always modify accordingly.
○ Great to have Handy Manny’s step-son, Kos Kerhoulas, post with us. Kos is George Kerhoulas’s son (from the Dixie). We named him, appropriately, “half cheese.” Now, if we can just get him to bring his Dad out (which, will never happen).
Awesome work, guys! Keep pushing the rock!
It was a pleasure, as always.
