Conditions: Phone said 35, clear skies and calm winds.

1 minute warning and disclaimer given, it’s go time.

Warmup: 20 SSH IC, 20 IW IC, 20 CTG IC, 20 Mountain Climbers IC. At this point 🛎 was coming in hot, said he didn’t need no stinking warmup. Mosey to pull-up bars and so it begins.

The Thang

Part 1: Split into groups of 2 for a 16 minute EMOM.  2 PAX perform dead hang while other 2 PAX perform 5 Thrusters and 5 burpees.  Once PAX 2 completes work, PAX 1 drops and all “rest” remaining time of each round alternating extended arm holds w/ a donger.  (This was a source of several middle school level jokes during the work).  Then switcheroo places, 8 rounds of each work per PAX.

Part 2: 21-15-9 of Bonnie Blair’s (hard way), Shoulder Taps (hard way), and Big Boy Sit-ups.  Time to go mobile-ish.  Put away the coupons and dongers (another few middle school jokes) and off to Project Hope driveway.

Part 3: The 50’s

Perform 5 rounds of the following: 10 Burpees, 10 Squats, 10 V-ups, 10 HR Merkins then mosey a lap around the driveway.  This was a gasser for sure.  We played “don’t get lapped by Crayola and all PAX were putting in some serious work here.  All PAX finished, time to mosey back to pull-up bars.

Part 4: All PAX perform 1 pull-up and 5 Merkins, working up to 5 pull-ups and 10 Merkins.  Last little bit with a few minutes left: 30 second plank hold, max LBC’s for a minute, max Flutter Kicks for a minute and RECOVER called.

We circled up, counted, and named.
