Conditions- 50 degrees, 40+mph winds, light sideways rain

One minute warning and disclaimer given.

Against the better judgement of my M, I pretended not to hear the howling winds and tree shrapnel hitting the house and got dressed. I knew I had the Q and in the back of my head was hoping I’d roll up to an empty parking lot. Didn’t know exactly how to dress for this, so I’m either going to freeze or burn up. Oh well, let’s do this.

I rolled in just in time to deliver the one minute warning. There were several equally disturbed PAX waiting in their vehicles deciphering what their next move was going to be. Apparently the Terrapin bootcamp had been relocated to the JCPenney inclement weather location. Weaver disappeared around the corner headed to see what was happening at JCPenney. Dixie Chick said screw this, I’m going to find some coffee. He then returned and curled up in the car with a good book. He had all the running in the rain he could take yesterday. Koby headed to do Sportsbreak Hill repeats. Dempsey headed for the fountain. Special K took off on the Calhoun loop. Me and Piddler got in our vehicles and headed around back to get in on the dryer bootcamp alternative. Tickle led a nasty full body beatdown. Piddler reminded me that I was the run Q and I might better head back to Starbucks. I was still a little winded from the burpees that Tickle decided to hand out in the last 5 minutes. As I pulled back around, Koby had taken the liberty of starting the COT. Thanks Koby.

Announcements- Be Resolute challenge has begun. Not too late to start. Get in a group of 2-4 PAX and form Shieldlocks. Beginning now, all Saturday bootcamps are at Talon at 0600.

Regardless of the resolutions we make for ourselves and try to attempt on our own, God has a plan for our lives, and it is far better than the one we have planned for ourselves. He can do a new thing in our lives if we hand it over to Him. We can put our past behind us and let Him make a way for us. YHC prayed us out.
