3 Q’s in 5 days – that has got to be a Tickle PR.
Not feeling terribly creative last night, I figured no one from my last Q will be here today, so why not reuse a good formula?
So, today, the Short Circuit was born – son of the Old Geezer Circuit at Terrapin.
Conditions – cool 57 degrees, slightly breezy, just about perfect
Disclaimer given.
WU – none. The first round of the circuit is basically a warm-up.
The Thang – Short Circuit
Start with 2 pull-ups, then mosey a short distance west for each of the below at their respective sites, starting with 5 each:
Dips on the bar/benches
Swerkins on the swings
Squats in the space before the path intersection
Big Boy Sit-ups at the path intersection
Run to complete the short (400m) loop to the bottom of the hill
Walking lunges counting the hard way
That’s the circuit, rinse and repeat, increasing 2 on the pull-ups and 5 on all other exercises till time is called.
Totally opposite to Saturday, the young guns ruled the course. Time was called and at least some made it to 35 reps. Crayola maybe even more.

Didn’t know it was Skip Day for all PAX whose names started with P. Missed you guys this morning.
The circuits are particularly good at wearing you out in the end and I think my goal was accomplished this morning.
Getting up out of bed in the gloom is always a challenge, but it helps when you know you got the Q. Looks like more PAX need to sign up to Q, if for no other reason than to get them up and out. Leadership, giving to your brothers, getting to pick your own playlist are all nice perks, too.
Sign up to Q.
