F3 Greenwood

YHC was having a tough time coming up with a suitable workout for this morning and didn’t just want to repeat a workout that had been Q’d recently.  So late last night, YHC decided to look through some old Epicenter backblasts for inspiration.  It was neat to look back at the early days of F3 Greenwood and see names like Meatloaf, Sugar, Metermaid, Fabio, Coffin, and Cold Feet.  Unfortunately, those pax aren’t found in the Gloom like they used to be but they are missed and we’d love to welcome them back if they decided to get back out.  YHC finally settled on a version of a Flossy Q from 2/25/2016.  Some exercises were changed, but the setup was the same.  I’d like to think that the result was the same as well…..pain.

John 15:5 – I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

We all face times of crisis and it’s in those times that we seem to look more to God for help.  He is the only answer to any of our problems.  The point is not that crises are bad; it’s that being connected to Jesus Christ is good.  Sometimes God uses the blinding fog of a crisis to help us find him and become closer to him.

NMS
10 pax was the maximum number that the coupons available at the Epicenter allowed for a double coupon party.  YHC was a little concerned that the coupon supply would be too limited and there was no backup plan in place.  But it all worked out.

The pax got after it for the full 45 minutes.  Mumblechatter was minimal until the COT when YHC thanked God for double coupons during the prayer.  Tickle didn’t necessarily agree.  Although he was with the lead group most of the morning.

In looking back at the old backblasts, it was amazing the number of times Polly’s name was mentioned, followed by some comment about mumblechatter.  That part was missed this morning, but Polly can add this backblast to the list of those that include his name, even if he didn’t post.

Good job men!  SYITG tomorrow.
