F3 Greenwood

YHC grabbed the Talon Q when offered yesterday.  Today was a scheduled “off day” for me, but i wanted to get some work in to ensure i kept my Starbucks streak alive.  10 other guys joined and we revisited the Killer B’s workout from IPC 2019.

 

It went like this:

5 Rounds for time

Start on imaginary goal line

Broad Jump 10 yards to shovel flag

10 Burpees, 10 Bonnie Blairs (2 is 1), 10 Big Boi Situps

Broad Jump 10 yards to cone number 1

10 Burpees, 10 Bonnie Blairs (2 is 1), 10 Big Boi Situps

Broad Jump 10 yards to cone number 2

10 Burpees, 10 Bonnie Blairs (2 is 1), 10 Big Boi Situps

Bearcrawl back to start.

Rinse and repeat for 5 rounds

    Good job by all in attendance.
    We listened to Pusher’s hair band mix but he fartsacked.
    Was cold to begin with doing burpees and bearcrawls on frosted field, but quickly warmed up.
    Good to have some Redwood originals back with us here lately (BoyGeorge and Unplugged specifically come to mind)
    Also nice to have new faces (Foreclosure and Bandwagon come to mind.  Wait….Bandwagon fartsacked so nevermind).
    How about Bueller crushing that bootcamp.  Keep grinding brother.  Nice to have you.
    The 10 yards between stops was as inconsistent as i can imagine.
    After doing this workout during IPC vs today, i believe working against the clock definitely leads to a more intense workout.  I think i was around 5-6 minutes slower today vs back in September.
