F3 Greenwood

2 Dads and their 2.0s posted for the first of the weekly 2.0 workouts.
I dragged two of my three daughters out of the fartsack this morning and left one at home. Fatback brought his son and newest F3Greenwood FNG, Bacon Bit, with him. Numbers were a little lower than I would have liked but we got some good work done and had some fun at the same time.

At 5:15 we broke away from the 2 pax posting for the regular bootcamp and headed to the football field to get to work.

Here’s what went down:

10 SSHs IC
10 Grass Cutters IC
10 Burpees OYO
10 BB Sit-ups OYO
10 Flutter Kicks IC
1 Lap around the football field.

Line up on the goal line-
Bearcrawl 5 yds-10 SSHs
Crab walk 5 yds- 10 Flutter Kicks
Repeat to the 30 yd line and back to the goal line.

Mosey to the newly built bleachers:
Run up and down the stairs. At the bottom, 10 dips. Repeat down and back the length of the bleachers 2x.

Mosey to the back of the press box for some leg work:
30 sec. wall sit and 10 air squats- 2 sets

Quick mosey to the picnic tables:
10 incline merkins/10 leg raises x3 rounds

Announcements:
2.0 workouts every Saturday concurrent w/ regular boot camps at 7am at Talon. We need Dads to commit to show up with their 2.0s and to sign up to Q.

Prayer Requests: Bacon Bit asked that we continue to pray for his grandfather as he continues to recover, as well as a schoolmate of his who is undergoing treatments for leukemia.

The 2.0s had a good time today and I hope to see more dads and their 2.0s in the coming weeks as we work to improve Saturday attendance.
Make an effort to post on Saturdays and bring those 2.0s too so they can experience what their dads get to enjoy during the week.
