Warmup : 20 SSH IC, 20 Mountain Climbers IC, 20 Cut the Grass IC (with minor loss of concentration as Fatback came rolling in on 2 wheels to join us)
The Thang
First up my version of 4 Ascending Corners. 4 stations, 4 different exercises (1 at each corner) and climbing in reps each corner (10,20,30,40). First corner burpees, Second corner merkins, Third corner dips, Fourth corner LBC’s. We completed 3 rounds of this.
Next a slow mosey to Charles Street. Bottom of hill Air Squats, Light pole Smurf Jacks. Rounds of 5, 10, 15. Then mosey back to park to grab a coupon.
Next up a 21-15-9 using coupons. Overhead press, bent over rows, and chest presses. Then 3 rounds around the playground performing Farmers Carry with coupon, stopping each lap to perform 5 burpees. Mosey to return coupons, and return to grassy area off playground.
Next up some Ab work. 30 second low plank followed by 20 LBC’s. 45 second low plank followed by 20 LBC’s. 60 second low plank followed by 20 LBC’s.
May this point YHC had exhausted his bag of tricks, but alas we had a couple minutes left. So Encino suggested a 30 yard bear crawl and back to finish us out. This made everyone happy I think. Mumble chatter heard along the way, likely saying what a great idea bear crawls were.
Recover was called, circled up back in the parking lot.

YHC shared some recently learned insight into what Jesus was telling us when He says we are the salt and light. We are precious to our God. And we have the ability every day, at home, at work, in the gloom, to spread the light of Christ to others. We represent His love, and in turn are called to show others this same visible love.
