The fearless AOQ put out a last minute call for a Q on Sunday night, and YHC thought, “Why not? I’m going to be there anyway.” There were 5 HC’s pretty quickly and I was looking forward to the BC with those that said they were coming, but only 3 showed. The allure of the fartsack beat 2 of them. So, here’s what I came up with.
Warm-up
SSH x 25
Imperial Walkers x 20
Cut the grass x 15
Truth be told, YHC was going to forego the warm-up but the legs were still a little sore from the Saturday Fury beatdown courtesy of Uncle Jesse and Alpo, so a warm-up was necessary.
Mosey and secure a coupon and bring it back to the pull-up bar area.
The Thang
2 min AMRAP
25 manmakers, run to flagpole.
25 KB swings, run to flagpole.
25 curls, run to flagpole.
YHC did not remember this taking so long during August.
Lungewalk to the bathroom
Wall squats and LBC’s – length of wall sit determines number of LBC’s counting one leg. Sets of 45, 45, and 30 were done.
Lungewalk back to pull-up bar.
21-15-9
Pull-ups
We’re not Worthies
Mountain Climbers counting one leg
Al Gore’s and WWI Sit-ups – length of Al Gore determines number of WWI sit-ups. Sets of 30 and 30 were done.
Lungewalk to the gazebo (there might have been some grumbling heard after that, YHC is still trying to figure it out.)
21-15-9
Box Jumps
Dips
Inclince Merkins
50 calf raises
Al Gore’s and Flutter kicks counting one leg – length of Al Gore determines number of flutter kicks. Set of 45 was done.
More was planned but we were out of time. We moseyed back to the coupons and returned them to the pile.

NMS
-As always, great work was put in by these two. The box jumps after the lunge walks were a killer. YHC almost busted his teeth on the first one. Glad YHC scrapped the original plan of doing a rifle carry during the lunge walk, that could have proven dangerous to someone’s health.
-There wasn’t much mumblechatter to be told of.
-YHC shared a quote by Thomas Carlyle, “The man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder – a waif, a nothing, a no man.” We talked about our purpose everyday should be to bring Him glory. Be that as a husband, a father, a co-worker, a man of God. If that is our purpose everyday, and we keep our eyes focused on that, nothing that happens should truly affect us. Obviously, this is easier said than done but should be our goal when we wake up everyday.
Until next time,
