During COT time after Blu’s tribute to the American Sniper on Friday, it was announced that there was a need for a Q at Terrapin for Saturday. YHC always enjoys a good Terrapin Q and all it has to offer so YHC volunteered to take the Q. After the intense Red Friday, YHC aimed to make it a little bit of everything in an attempt to encourage all PAX to post for the Saturday BC and 8 PAX showed up. (Boy George came in real hot at 6 on the nose).

Disclaimer given at 6:00 and off we went.

Warm-up
SSH x 25
Cut the grass x 15 (or 16, YHC lost count somewhere in there)
Imperial Walkers x 20
Mosey to the pull-up bars where PAX did 5 burpees and then 5 pull-ups, reducing that number by 1 each time until 1 burpee and 1 pull-up was completed.

We counted off (sort of) and off we moseyed to the coupon pile. Each PAX secured a coupon and rifle carried it to the fair playground area.

The Thang

Dora Hills
We assembled at the top of the hill that is located to the left of the last playground. (This was supposed to be the hill for Cannonball Run, but somehow that got moved. Not sure how that happened….Alpo (cough, cough))
PAX 1 did LBC’s while PAX 2 bearcrawled down the hill. At the bottom, 25 air squats were performed. After that, the PAX ran up the hill and switched with PAX 1 who then repeated what PAX 2 did. The number of squats was reduced each time by 5 so that each PAX performed 25, 20, 15, 10, and 5 squats.
Once this was completed, a nice and slow 10 count was performed by Otis and then the coupons were rifle carried to the dentist’s parking lot.

Dentist Parking Lot
PAX were instructed to remain with their partner the entire time of the workout. So, here’s what went down from here:
Encino Man’s favorite exercises:
Chest Press
Bent Over Row
OH Press
Biceps Curls
Triceps Extensions
25 reps of each exercise were to be performed the first set. For each subsequent set, the reps were to be reduced by 5.
After the first set of exercises, we ran up Charles Street.

Charles Street
Merkins and Flutter Kicks. Again starting with 25 reps and reducing by 5 with each subsequent set.
After finishing the set, mosey to Pascal’s.

Pascal’s
Monkey Humpers and Freddie Mercuries. Again starting with 25 reps and reducing by 5 with each subsequent set.
After finishing the set, mosey back down Cambridge to the dentist office parking lot.

The original intention was to repeat this until 5 reps of the exercises were performed, but due to some nagging ailments for some PAX, an audible was called.

Audible
After PAX completed the exercises in the dentist’s office, they had a choice of either going up Charles or Cambridge, completing the required number of reps and returning to the dentist office.

When PAX finished, they either did abs or planked to the 6. 6 came in at 7 and coupons were rifle carried back to the stack.

Announcements:
-Blu’s birthday party tonight at 7
-Rabbit Chase Wednesday at 5:15 at Starbucks, sign-up is available on Twitter.

Prayer Requests:
-Pusher’s youngest son turns 19 today
-Boy George’s nephew is battling drug addiction and is currently in prison. When he is released at the end of this month, he will enter an in-house treatment facility.

NMS:
-During the first set of coupon exercises, Mr. Belding “dropped” his block, breaking it into several pieces. (Not sure where those pieces ended up. Rumor is they are possibly in the beds of the pick-up trucks that made an appearance this morning.)
-Great work put in by all. I always like to throw in the down hill bearcrawls. Adds a different dynamic to the BC.
-Jeremiah 32:17, “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Great reminder that He is always in control. No matter what we are going through or dealing with, He is right behind us and all we need to do is turn to Him.
-Otis has his VQ at the Epicenter on Tuesday.

Until next time,
