YHC was toying with a coupon-free BC before Terrapin yesterday but after Terrapin, it was solidified that this morning was going to be coupon-free. When YHC pulled up Otis was the only one there and for awhile YHC thought it was going to be the awkward two man COT but Lego and Sour came rolling in shortly before 5:14.

Weather: cold and damp. (It has to warm up soon, doesn’t it?)

Disclaimer was given at 5:14.

Warm-up

YHC noticed awhile ago that the road that ran between the farmer’s market and the Epicenter was never utilized, so today was the day. We started to mosey up the parking lot towards the animal shelter. We stopped there and did 20 SSH in cadence and 5 burpees OYO. We continued to mosey to the farmer’s market and stopped there and did 20 Imperial Walkers in cadence and 5 burpees OYO. The mosey resumed to the last turn off before hitting 72 and we performed 15 LBAC forward and reverse, front claps, and overhead claps in cadence and then 5 burpees OYO. The warm-up mosey finished at the back side of the Epicenter at the playground.

The Thang

Pull-up bars
Perform 10 pull-ups and 10 plank jacks. Reduce pull-ups by 2 each time until you get to 2 pull-ups while performing 10 plank jacks after each set. Mosey to Flossy’s Hill.

Flossy’s Hill
PAX got in a line at the bottom of the hill. The PAX at the end bearcrawled around the PAX in the line who were holding a plank. This was repeated all the way up the hill. At the top, 10 merkins were performed. PAX ran down the hill and back up and 8 merkins were performed. This was repeated until 4 merkins were performed. The bearcrawl train was performed one more time and 2 merkins were done at the top. Mosey to the center.

Center
Wall sits and LBC’s. PAX were instructed that however long a wall sit is held, that is how many LBC’s will be performed. 3 sets were done: 30 seconds, 45 seconds, and 60 seconds.
BTW and flutter kicks. Same as above. The length of time that the BTW is held that’s how many flutter kicks (counting one leg) will be performed. 3 sets were done: 20 seconds, 30 seconds, and 20 seconds. (Lego is the man doing these.)
3 minutes remained, so an AMRAP of dips for one minute was done at the picnic tables.

Time was called and we returned to the flag.

NMS:
-We weren’t sure what we were getting into this morning as when the BC started we were flanked on one side by a Sheriff’s car and a non-descript black sports car that was parked at an angle on the other end of the parking lot. So YHC, decided to run towards said sports car. You never know what you might find at the Epicenter.
-Not much mumblechatter without Polly there but there was hard work and great effort put in by all. Otis is getting back into his groove and its great to have him back out there.
-YHC shared Mark 16:1-7. A reminder that this is Holy Week and it’s so easy to go through our day and forget about the meaning of this week and the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for us but let’s not forget that. Let’s live our daily life remembering this sacrifice.

Until next time,
