2-7, that was the temperature this morning.  It was cold.  2-7 is also said to be the worst hand you can draw in poker.  It felt like that this morning as folks had real concerns about losing a few phalanges.  Fortunately we all made through the work with all body parts intact.

 

Coming off my victory as “Most likely to Fartsack after an HC” I made sure I was there this morning.  I am honored to win such a prestigious award.  But I would like to point out that in order to qualify, it means you have to HC for a lot of workouts.  I encourage you to take a strong look in the mirror and ask yourself, “am I showing up enough to be the best I can be?” If not, get to stepping.  As we’ve seen through some recent events, life is short, oftentimes too short, so push yourself to be the best you can be.  Now is the time of year when everyone throws out resolutions that often are unmet.  Set some goals with your F3 brothers.  Grab an accountability partner and make 2018 the year where you really take it to the next level.  I often preach about hitting that plateau, I’ve seen it with myself, but you must rededicate yourself to getting better and it’s not always easy.  We’ve seen tremendous gains in our group by folks committing themselves to the idea of “getting comfortable being uncomfortable”.  Folks like Mary Ann, Piddler, Tootsie, and Southern Belle are recent examples and there are many more. It’s not easy, but if it were, everyone would look like Patrick Swayze.

  • Good work by the 10, I mean 11, that showed up
  • WTD totals – 140 posts.  10 Shy of our goal.  Maybe next week?
  • Some PAX went streaking for 8-10 miles after BC (quality work)
  • Music was a mess today.  Tried to appease with a 80s station and it was a disaster.  Although “Shake me” by Cinderella garnered some mumble chatter.
