Conditions: 47ish
YHC has been trying to stay committed to at least one day of hill work each week. For today’s route, the Cambridge Bowl and Spur seemed the best option for a simple, solid workout.
Four pax were already coasting along main when YHC was cruising toward the fountain. Four emerged in the gloom, for the usual start time. YHC explained the route and encouraged everyone to sprint (a relative term) up the hills.
The disclaimer was muttered, and we got to work.
As everyone made there way back to the fountain, we circled up, made a few announcements (Terrapin Tomorrow), and shared prayer requests. YHC also mentioned the four soldiers who were lost on October 4 and all were encouraged to keep their families in thoughts and prayers.
All were counted. All were named. And we prayed.
In all, it was a great morning to get out in the gloom and get just a little bit better.
Until next time,
Corncob
