F3 Greenwood

A healthy 14 men descended upon Terrapin for a Saturday workout.  Our resident non-resident, Strawberry, was back in Greenwood and this time he brought along a few friends.  Nice to have Heartbreaker, Big Tuna, and Shocker with us to get their weekend started off right.

As I was driving to Terrapin, I pulled up behind Pusher at a red-light.  I knew it was Pusher based on the Georgia Bulldog license cover.  (His other vehicle is positively identified by the license plate combo “#1AF” which makes me chuckle each time I see it.)  Anyway, given that Pusher was going to be attending the workout, I switched my planned playlist and went with his favorite Pandora station, “Milli Vanilli Radio”.  Things were off to a good start musically with some combination of Milli Vanilli, Rob Base, Bobby Brown etc.  I can picture a sweaty Pusher dancing to these hits during his time in Athens.

Ok, on to the workout.  It went like this:

Circle up

  • Solid work by all men in attendance.  If you are reading this and were not there, ask yourself why?
  • Terrapin was active this morning.  Upon entering a couple made their way out on foot, then another couple walked through and we even got a visit from the Fuzz.
  • Great to see all these guys getting better.  I witnessed a lot of guys giving it their all on the pull-ups and making tremendous progress.
  • Everyone was nice to each other.  Unbelievable how easy that is, right?   You never get a second chance to make a first impression, even if you have a bunch of folks who consider you #royalty and pump sunshine up your ass.  Keep shaking that weasel gentlemen.
