It was a very cool, crisp morning signifying that fall is right around the corner.  It was almost a perfect morning for a run.   18 F3Greenwood PAX apparently realized the conditions were ideal and decided to gather at the fountain in Uptown Greenwood. Interestingly, there were no one in the RESPECT category, which made YHC the war-daddy, seeing that I’ll soon be (5 days) in that exclusive RESPECT club.

As YHC rolled into the parking lot, I noticed several PAX heading out for a Farlek run.  Nice to have them join us this morning.  For us non-Fartleker’s, we briefly discussed the meaning of the  “Fartlek.”

Anyway, a very good, concise and clear disclaimer was given at 5:15 and the PAX scattered amongst the streets of Greenwood, all going various distances and various routes.  All returned safely.  It was awesome to see the good numbers this morning.  Let’s keep it up.

Prayers: (1) Bueller’s M’s grandmother fell and broke her ribs and her husband is pretty dependent on her.  Both could use prayers.  (2) Mr. Bean having some follow up test this week. (3) Unplugged is scheduled for a heart ablation.  (4) Otis is getting his heart monitor taken off and will require surgery sometime in the future.   And, (4) those affected by the flooding in Texas  and those affected by thethe aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
