A solid 12 pax gathered for a steamy sweat-fest run through the Wood. A few BRR pairs met up and headed out early, some did the normal Out-N-Back, and one (Dixie Chick) ran out and limped back…feel better brother.
Conditions: Warm and muggy
Disclaimer: Be careful, watch for cars
The Thing: Run as far as you can in 45 minutes to an hour

YHC reminded group of how F3 views the 3rd F….faith in higher being, open/inclusive of all men, of all ages, of all sizes, of all backgrounds, of all religions. YHC also admitted that F3 Greenwood is comprised of many Christian men (including himself) and asked for anyone who wanted to/could to stay for a few minutes of thoughts.
YHC shared how as I grow older, I am more aware of my own mortality, as well as that of others. As such, I feel the importance and weight of sharing my faith with others, including my family and friends. As believers, we are called to share the gospel (“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you”. Matthew 28:19-20). This should begin at home, with your M. We (husbands) are called to be the Head of Household…we should lead, guide, direct, teach, love, support those under our care. After our M, we should pour into our children. This does not happen through osmosis….it takes time, intentional time. Find time to spend with the M and the kids. Lastly, we should look for ways to come alongside our family and friends/neighbors/coworkers and help them take “one step to the right”. Meaning, we may not be able to share the gospel and lead them to Christ in one lengthy conversation….but we can meet them where they are, be there to support them, answer their questions, lift them up….whatever they need, whenever they need it. YHC encouraged and challenged the men to step up and do his part, and wished them well.
Special K closed all in prayer
Be well guys!
