F3 Greenwood

While summer isn’t officially over for another month and some change, summer is officially over educators in our area. As a result, I needed to get lost in the gloom to  get my mind off this horrid realization. Being my VQ, I wanted to plan a workout that was challenging to all and produced some sweat. I personally enjoy those workouts where I question the feasibility when first spoken by the Q, the ones I almost hate while in the midst of them, but the ones I complete and then wonder how I did it… only to be reminded of the work put in throughout the day as I feel the effects. While I’m not sure if all parts of this equation were experienced by all PAX today, I think the example set by so many of you in your own Qs helped me raise the bar for my own expectations as a VQ. While some rain did fall, I think most of the wet clothes and hair were a byproduct of the work these men put in today. It was good to hear the support given among the PAX throughout the workout.

As I told the pax this morning, taking the Q plunge was good for me. I keep realizing how well srtuctured this whole F3 thing is the more I get involved. I thought the biggest part of the Q would be the actual workout and the on field leadership required. While I understand the importance of this, what I found was the planning was what was so meaningful to me. The planning process forced me to slow down and consider so many of those I see in the group setting each morning on a more individual basis. If you haven’t signed up to Q, do it. We’ve got a great bunch of men that will support you and help you along the way.

Apologies to Sugar for telling him the weighted vest would be a good idea. Also, mad props to Sug for completing the workout wearing it.

Mary Anne is a beast. Dude just works and works. Proud of his progress… now go Q.

Glad to see the transplant Beowulf.

Prayer requests:
