YHC was all prepared to hear the sweet sounds of Uncle Jesse’s old hippie music as UJ put a beat down on us at Terrapin. Sadly, that did not materialize as poor Uncle Jesse was home nursing a hurt back. He had messaged YHC at 4:43, a message that was not read before arrival. So, YHC threw a quick Q together. In retrospect this would have been a good day to allow someone else to take the Q. We have many solid PAX right now who are able to lead, but have not accepted the challenge yet. It is a great joy and privilege to lead the great men of F3 Greenwood!
Warm-up
20 Side straddle hops in cadence
15 hillbillies in cadence
20 little baby arm circles ford in cadence
20 little baby arm circles backward in cadence
The Thang.
Uphill Dora 123
The PAX paired off, all except YHC who worked alone. One man ran up the bridge hill while the other partner worked. (The uphill part of the Dora was Mary Anne’s contribution that ramped up the hurt exponentially.)
100 Burpees
200 goblet squats (the goblet part of the squat was thrown in by Corn cob, who has come back to post with a vengeance!)
300 overhead press
Recovery was called after Beano and Mary Anne completed their work (the other pairs were all close to being done.)
NEXT: Mosey to the gazebo. We did nine box jumps followed by one merkin , eight box jumps and two merkins, all the way down and up the ladder. Thighs were smoked all the way around at this point.
Amazing work by everyone! Taking the Q is not that hard. So many guys are missing out, please consider sharing the responsibility.
Devotion: 1 Peter 3:15 “but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you;”
