F3 Greenwood

Conditions: 57 Degrees

In an effort to continue shaking up the weekly hill routine, YHC shared another twisting, turning stroll through various parts of town. After sharing it on Twitter the night before, Weaver quickly replied, “that’s a lot of lefts.” He was right. So, as the pax arrived on Friday morning, we quickly got to work turning left.

After the run, YHC shared brief information about Army 1st Lt. Daren M. Hidalgo who we honored with this hill run. Read more about him here.

We were counted; we were named; we covered key F3 Greenwood announcements; and we lifted others (and ourselves) up in prayer.

NMM:

Throughout the run, Blind Date was right behind me. I figured it was because he wasn’t sure what the route was (understandable). I thought I was holding him back. As we turned onto Montague to head back toward the fountain, I found out just how much. As Flossy came up to pass us, Blind Date took that as his queue to pick up the pace. He and Flossy were a distant memory within seconds. Good work Blind Date.

Before we got started, I had do describe the route to people several times. Later over coffee, Tweeter said that all he heard me say was “blah, blah, blah.” From the looks I was getting from everyone else, I think they were hearing the same thing.

As always, it was nice to start the day with a great group of hard working gentlemen. Good job pushing yourselves to be better, fellas.

Peace,

Corncob
