NMS:
* YHC arrived a little early this morning and was hit with the dreaded feeling of flying solo. But when I checked the clock and noticed I was early I knew there was still time. Sure enough, Flossy’s truck pulled up beside me and I knew that meant 2 more Pax were there. That’s because the Epicenter’s AOQ was planning ahead this past weekend (He’s putting in a dishonest day’s work at the beach. On the tax payer’s dime no less) and assigned Flossy the duties of chauffeuring for Judge Hairy. As we rolled out of the vehicles we began naming names of some of the regulars that were missing. Judge mentioned that he was going to send out a “nice and encouraging” message to the guys who were out. Then with a few minutes before go time, Lego pulls in. Good deal, a solid group.
* Through out the workout Judge Hairy made sure he let me know how much fun he was having. Even said it Trumped the time he cut off part of his finger. At least I think that’s what he said. Sometimes it was hard to hear him over Lego. That guy loves to talk! (Enter sarcastic face here) Lego is actually a man of few words. He’s too busy hammering out a a great workout. But what is tough to hear over is Flossy’s motor. He tries to disguise it as breathing, but after posting with him back to back days I’m convinced he has a Hemi under the hood and it’s purring.
* YHC was impressed with the effort put out by all Pax and is now expecting to see these Pax frequent #REDFriday a little more often.
* YHC checked the time and the watch said 5:44. So I gave an additional disclaimer that it was getting ready to be dark and on cue the lights went out. Polly going to show us how important he is when he gets back from “working” at the Beach by instructing staff to reprogram the timers to 0600.
* Shortly after the lights went out, we encountered a “walk by” by some younger fellows who we figured had just completed a workout of their own. And with that cue, it was time to head to the Shovel Flag.
* As we were enjoying a little COT, we heard the sounds of what was surely just a cap gun fire off a few shots, and with that cue… It was time to go.

As always…
Until the next Q
MM is out
