7 pax embraced the suck and went for a run along Montague Ave this morning.  YHC thought the rain was clearing out, but about 15 minutes into the run, the rain became fairly heavy.  It stayed this way for the bulk of the run but stopped just before we finished up.

Conditions: 49° with light, then heavy, then light rain

Disclaimer: Given at 0515 and off we go…

The Thang:
22.5 minutes out, 22.5 minutes back to the fountain.

NMS:
-When YHC saw the rain this morning, I was really dreading the run.  It was great to see a few vehicles in the lot when I pulled up.  I’ve learned that sometimes the days where you don’t want to do the work end up being some of your better workouts in the end.  Today was one of those days for me.
-Shaggy took a tumble somewhere along the way and still had a PR.  Praying that he is just bruised and that’s the extent of any injury.  It’s such an inspiration to see Shaggy push through pain to accomplish new PR’s.
-YHC ran across the video above just before doing the BB.  Take five minutes and give it a listen.  I’m not so sure it wasn’t put together by an F3 brother somewhere as it ties directly into why we do what we do each morning.  I don’t know about anyone else, but today was more than just a run in the rain for me.
