When I headed to Hustle this morning, I wondered if there would be any pax given that many were tapering for the big Swamp Rabbit half this weekend. At 5:15, it looked like I was flying solo. So, I decided on a rogue OnB instead of the usual Hustle fare.
I pointed myself toward the movie theater and hit the road. I ran until I reached Music Masters and turned to head back. I am also running the Swamp Rabbit. So, there was no need to over do it.
As I made my way back to Emerald High School, I was excited to get back to the house and start the week, drink some coffee, eat some breakfast, etc.
As I turned into the parking lot, to my surprise, my car was no longer the solo occupant. There was another loose in the land of Hustle. Who could it be?
Instead of stopping at the car, I strolled down to the track, where I found Pusher completing a lap. He had arrived a few minutes after I started my rogue OnB and got to work doing an on-the-fly hustle workout. I’d post that breakdown here, but I’m not sure exactly what he did.
At any rate, he explained that he was planning on Terapin, but thought he’d head to hustle in case no one else decided to show. He was there to show a brother support. And for that, I’m thankful.
Count-o-rama and name-o-rama were not necessary.
Pusher prayed us out in style.
Until next time.
