F3 Greenwood

7 PAX decided to start their week off at Terrapin.  I promised a stationary workout focused on upper body.  There was a promise (and a tweet) that Cruiser would be in town and joining us.  That said, 5:15am came and went with no Cruiser so we got started.  Low and behold, he comes in about a minute or 2 late, but glad to have him anyway.  I stole this workout from BabyBlu with a few tweaks.  It went like this:

Warm-up

100 Ab exercises of your choice OYO

Retrieve block from woods.

The Thang

10 Pull-ups

20 Dips

30 Merkins

40 Block Curls

As many rounds as possible until time called at 6:00am.  After round 5, complete 50 ab exercises of your choice.

Time called  – return blocks to the woods.

COT/BOM

  • Great job by all in attendance.
  • A very simple, yet effective upper body work out.
  • The 30 merkins proved to be difficult after the first round.  (The pull-ups sucked too)
  • Nice to have 7 in attendance at Terrapin.  Good number to start Monday off boot camp style.
  • I think everyone was feeling the pump afterwards.
  • Items found on the ground during the workout:
    • One full slice of pizza
    • One engagement ring (it proved to be plastic)
    • Some apple slices or someone blew chunks (verdict is still out)
