“I love the feeling of the fresh air on my face and the wind blowing through my hair. ” Evel Knievel
You don’t have to be a stunt-man like Evel Knievel to wake up early to run. In fact, it doesn’t take any talent at all. Just a little motivation and desire. This is exactly what 22 PAX of F3Greenwood did this morning. They decided to #GetBetter this morning and go for a run with their F3 brothers.
As folks turned right out of the Starbucks parking lot and up the By-Pass, they were greeted with a pretty sharp head-wind. If I had hair, it probably would have felt pretty good blowing through it. But, despite the wind, Mr. Bean and Prolly were able to PR. Great job, guys.
Everyone returned around 6:00. Surprisingly, there was silence when it came time for announcements. And, just a few brief prayer request – Rocky, Bubba Fennel, Crawfish and injured PAX.
I interpreted the quietness of the PAX as a signal that they were wanting/needing coffee. So, we balled it up and prayed right there. We were done by 6:03. As usual, awesome 2nd F occurred in Starbucks aftweards. Always good to see the men of F3 Greenwood in one location and to catch up with them.
Also, great to see Pot Hole back out running, even with his knee issues. Way to push through!
Until next time…Peace.
