If you read about Bradley you will find that he lost his life going to drag a fallen comrade to safety during a fire fight. He managed to successfully remove two members of his team, before being fatally wounded attempting to rescue a 3rd. He was posthumously awarded a Silver Star and the Air Force camp in Afghanistan was later named after him. Bradley lived his life being prepared for what may come. When we post in the gloom, we are preparing ourselves for the future. Sometimes our preparation allows us to better ourselves physically to play with our children or grandchildren, sometimes it allows us to bring more focus to our work, or our marriage. This preparation allows us to be ready when something extraordinary occurs, so that we too can make a difference in someone’s life. I hope you post. I hope you post with an eye on preparation for the future. I hope you post to get better and drive your brother’s to do the same. Enjoy the time you have on this great big ball of dirt, but always look to the day when you can help someone.
