F3 Greenwood

The weather app said 46 degrees, nice and balmy compared to some recent mornings. It didn’t say anything about the wind and the constant misting that made it feel at least 20 degrees colder on head and hands.

Only 3 PAX left from FountainHead at 5:15 but YHC passed the other two going XL on the drive in.

Route was the same, out ‘n back, 22.5 minutes each leg. Everyone arrived back at the fountain, intact and unharmed, and feeling a good bit warmer than when they left.

The morning was cold – colder than anticipated at least for YHC. Started dreading my decision to even get out and post about a mile or so in, then passed where Terrapin boys would be working which reminded me of why we post…for our brothers. Special K pulled YHC along and the thoughts of misery faded.

Passed the ninja turtles on the way back and felt much better in that at least YHC wasn’t doing THAT on this cold morning.

NMS

Gave quick word to the PAX but really just reminding YHC – Christmas is about the birth of the Savior of all mankind. We must resist the materialism and all the distractions of this season that are thrown at us. Christ expects us to die for ourselves for those we love, those we do not love, and for His kingdom.

Morning post was capped just right with coffeeteria at Starbucks with my fellow PAX.
It’s my pleasure to be associated with such a group of men as this.
