As the pax emerged from their cars, some called attention to the fact that several Christmas lights that adorn the trees in the town center of The Wood were not as bright as others. I’m not sure why this is important, but they probably weren’t the only dim (as in sleepy in the case of the pax) bulbs in the vicinity as we braved the chilly air and grumbled about our desire to fartsack.
Being my second Q, I stuck to the basics. We started from FountainHead with our eye on the Cambridge Bowl and Spur. As we left, promptly at 5:15, a brief disclaimer was made to the men thanks to a subtle reminder from Kobayashi. Weaver was already out for an XL stroll.
The rest of us hit the Cambridge Bowl and Spur for a few rounds of hills, after which we returned to FountainHead.
In all, it was a great morning for a run through the chilly streets of The Wood.
