YHC was asked about needing a sub Q for #REDFriday and since its been a while since the last Q I decided to take it.
8 pax posted to see what type of beatdown Chelsea would provide.
Conditions: mid 60’s
Disclaimer: Given
Chelsea:
30 minutes of EMOM (Every minute on the minute)
5 Pull-ups
10 Merkins
15 Squats
Once the clock hit zero the pax decided to take a 1 mile run to fill in the time.

Announcements:
* 11/18 Habitat for humanity work day
* 12/3 Christmas at Sugar’s
Prayer Request:
* Pax dealing with injuries and other stuff.
* Military and all the other first responders
NMS:
* Chelsea is a very monotonous WOD and YHC was concerned around round 4 or 5 that the pax would lose interest and not max out. Of course that was not the case and Chelsea ended up providing a worthy beatdown.
* With this workout you give 100 percent each minute to get the reps done and then rest until the next minute starts. Everyone found out quickly that there would not be very much rest.
* Merkin count for the November challenge = 300
* It’s a rare occasion that the Red Friday WOD is not a Hero WOD but very now and then a Crossfit Benchmark WOD is the order of the day. These workouts are definitely tough and make for a quality start to the morning. That being said, since the WOD doesn’t honor a fallen Hero YHC spoke in the COT about the sacrifice they make and our responsibility to remember and honor them on a daily basis.
As always…
