Beautiful morning! YHC was a little nervous after getting about 4 or 5 texts from Pax that would NOT be posting this morning for one reason or another. But, when i pulled up 10 minutes early and saw 5 or 6 vehicles i felt a whole lot better. Kudos to Peg Leg…broken but keeps on posting. Proof that improvising and still getting better is totally possible! Sugar was home helping his sweetheart care for some kiddos (doing the right thing!) and that left us w/o a ShovelFlag…until Meter Maid steps up and supply’s RED’s ShovelFlag for us to rally ’round. T-Claps MM!

68* and clear as a bell! Lying on the Big Ball looking up was awesome…Orion and friends looking right back at us!

THE THANG

Pax counted off by 2’s. Pax 1 partnered with pax 2 to his left. Pax 1 grab 2 coupons, pax 2 grab 1 and go to the goal line (ended up on the backside of that end zone too!). This was GRETA, so cumulative counting as a team.

Partner 1 Farmer’s Carry to the 40 Yard Line, sets coupons down, then picks back up and makes way back while partner 2 begins exercises on the line.  Flap Jack.

100 CURLS

200 O. H. PRESS

300 BLOCK BENCH PRESS

This session was done fast and with exact precision, we had plenty of time to continue with more…so we did!

Next:

Pax 2 carrying ONE coupon this time out to the 20 yard line and return. Some Rifle Carried their blocks some shoulder carried but everybody carried. Pax 1 begin cumulative count exercise on the line. Flap Jack

100 DIPS

100 KETTLE BELLS

100 BENT-OVER ROWS

Again, this was done with such vigor we had time left for more. The pax were showing out today…no doubt about it!

Next:

Pax 2 runs (no coupon) to the 20 yard line and completes 25 (count one leg) Flutter Kicks and returns. Pax 1 begins the cumulative count exercise on the line. Flap Jack

350 LBC

This time, there is no more time. Job well done by all!

YHC spoke briefly about a verse I totally could not remember the address for. It’s

1 Timothy 4:8  for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.”

My takeaway here is, even though making our physical bodies better is good and our Maker is pleased we do this it should NOT be of a greater focus than making our “spiritual bodies” (the core of who we are) better. This comes by reading the Bible, praying to our God, and seeking fellowship with our fellow man. At the end of the day, the day will end. Our body’s will die. Train hard, make them better, but don’t neglect that which is eternal!…your SOUL.

YHC Prayed us off the field and into a new day! make it a good one!
