Remember back in the day as a child when you tagged along with grandma to visit the five and ten store, or the five and dime? LOL  Well this morning 16 pax took a “run” down memory lane and revisited the 5 and 10.

Conditions: Warm and humid

The Thang:

Moderate 3/4 mile mosey to the “bowl” or should I say the “5 and 10” for this workout.

10 mins of running in the bowl…just picture the letter “U” and that’s what the bowl looks like, hills on both ends leading down into the dip

5 mins of uphill sprints (on secondary road leading out of the “dip”)…paired up in two’s and sprinted to the top of the hill and then mosey back to the bottom…did 3 rounds of this but on the sprint up for rounds two and three, we sprinted halfway, then switched to backwards run and side step.

10 mins of running in the bowl

Moderate 3/4 mile mosey back to the flag

Great work by all in attendance.  Lots of sweat was expended.
