Sometimes our lives become a bear crawl through the sand.  We get mired down in the stresses of life sometimes to the point of paralysis.  Sometimes we don’t know what to do or even where to turn.  The bear crawl this morning served as a reminder that the Bible tells us to turn to the light.  The light being Christ.  To paraphrase 1 Peter 4: 12-13,  Peter says trials and stresses are coming.  They are a matter of fact not speculation.  Peter says you can rest in the understanding that Christ was stressed at times and understands your situation.  However,  it is up to us to turn to his light.  The only thing I had going for me this morning during the pain of the hated bear crawl was the peace of knowing that light was at the end of that road and it was drawing closer!!!!  Be prepared for the trials.  Don’t wait until they come.  Read the word, stay close to Christ and look for opportunities to lift others up who are going through trials.  This will better prepare you for when your time comes
