F3 Greenwood

When most PAX see my name on the Q sheet for Fury (or any other AO for that matter) they can expect a nice workout that includes some extended running.  That said, I decided to switch things up today, especially given that several PAX are planning to knock out a 10 mile run tomorrow in the morning.

Of course, I wanted to make it hard to make sure Fury lived up to its name.  I think we accomplished that as 7 PAX gave Fury a whirl.

The Thang

Mosey to virtual flag at Pull Up station.

Warmup

50 Burpees and 50 Pull-ups OYO.  Partition as you wish just get the work done.

Max effort dips

Each PAX collect coupon and scoot over about 10 yards from Pull Up station.

BLIMPS 

4 Rounds of Coupon BLIMPS OYO

B – Burpee – 5 Manmaker Burpees

L – Lunges – 10 Lunges (each leg for total of 20) with coupon

I – Imperial Walkers – 15 Imperial Walkers (each leg for a total of 30) with coupon

M – Merkins – 20 Merkins on Coupon

P – Plank Jacks – 25 Plank Jacks on Coupon

S – Squats – 30 squats with Coupon

(Did I mention 4 rounds?)

Bearcrawl

Each PAX Bear Crawls to woods and back.  (Rough estimate 30 yards one way???)

Flora Dora

Partner Up – Work is cumulative.  Partner 1 works, partner 2 runs to woods and back and they rotate upon return.

100 – KB Swings

200 – Curls

300 – Bench Presses

200 – Bent over rows

100 – Squat Thrusters

(Unfortunately no team completed the work before time was called but we all gave it max effort.  There’s always next time, right?)

COT/BOM

  • Great work today.  It was fun mixing it up a bit and I hope the PAX in attendance enjoyed it.
  • Good to see some new faces (at least to me) at Fury including Dixie Chick, Weaver, and Corn Cobb.
  • Good fellowship at Howard’s afterwards.
  • Tclaps to Juggar who moseyed from Howard’s to Fury and arrived about 3 seconds before we started.
