3 pax posted for a Furiously painful shoulder beat down.

After giving the disclaimer the night before that the effort was going to be focused around the shoulders and that the idea was for YHC to induce as much pain as possible to those said shoulders, it was kinda shocking to be staring at only two other seriously ugly mugs when the bell tolled 0515.  But so it was meant to be ………

COP – Mosey to the coupon stack, 5 Pull Ups and 10 Dips prior to embarking on our journey.  By the way, great job Refugee on that Dip Stand!  Grab 1 coupon per team……wait just make sure we have two coupons and let’s roll.

The THANG – Mosey to the Gazebo.

Triceps Extension w/Coupon x25 on the bench

Jungle Boy Squats x40

Rinse and Repeat for two sets per pax.

Mosey to the top back corner of the Merrywood parking lot.  You know, the place where the custodians park.  Wait, what?  You don’t know where the custodians park?  That’s because you didn’t post!  You’ll have to find out this super secret location later.

Cumulative work.  “Kinda like a Dora.”  With one team of 3, “we” (when I say “we” here, I’m really saying Jugger) decided to up the count to ensure hurt.  The 1st exercise was the overhead coupon press x 350.  One of the pax runs down the upper most drive to the road and performs Squat Jumps x10 then runs up the middle drive back to the custodian parking area to relieve a lucky pax.  Somewhere during this first change off the count got confusing and so “we” (see above) decided to just keep a count per coupon.  So each coupon had 175 reps to be completed.  After this was completed, we moved to Standing Horizontal Chest Presses x 250.  That’s 125 reps per coupon in case you weren’t paying attention earlier.  This is where Uncle Buck began to lay on the ground.  I had to explain that lying down would not hurt his shoulders nearly enough.  So once standing we started and quickly realized that these HURT!!!  There is no other way to say it than they flat out Suck! While two pax, Uncle Buck and myself, were starting this, Jugger started on the busy work.  Run again down the upper drive to the road and perform Lunge Jumps x10 (1leg).  Then run up the middle drive back to relieve the next pax.  These hurt, or at least we thought they did until we made it to the final set, ManMakers x 150.  Normally, throughout the course of any given workout this exercise will be called upon and the 3 amigos that posted here roll through them without hesitation or pause, but today for some reason they were evil.  We were slow and stopped frequently, trying with all efforts to knock them out in sets of 10 and then sets of 5.  We were not the masters of these monsters today.  And while we are all suffering greatly to these, YHC had the audacity to have Burpees be the busy work.  Yes, you heard right.  One pax ran down the upper drive to the road where Burpees x5 was the order, and then returned in the same pattern as before.  YHC called for time so that we could make it back precisely at 0600, but with just a few left, “we” (This time it means Uncle Buck) decided that we should knock out the final few before returning.  The mosey back to Fury was rough and slow and difficult, as it should be.

This is YHC’s smallest crowd for a Q.  It was scary at first, because there is absolutely NO hiding any mistakes with just two other pax.  A great time was had with lots of encouragement and a few taunts.  I thoroughly enjoyed this mornings beat down.  Thank you Uncle Buck and Jugs.
