28* and men are rolling in. 17 Pax gather ’round #shovelflag, 7 AM and the bell tolls. After hearing of the #beatdown to come Sappy decides it may best to leave his glasses in the car. #WarDaddy wisdom.

The THANG:
Pax count off by 2’s, 1 teams up with 2 to his right. Pax line up in parking lot, two lines, team 1 and team 2 for Double Apple Sauce. That’s what YHC intended anyway. Didn’t happen. We started a little fast some said and the end result was a gaggle of pax. YHC calls audible, run to the predetermined point OYO. The Block Zone and grab 2 blocks, each. Team up. On the soccer field awaited the 6 cones. 4 creating what would be our 4 corners and 2 our “B” line.
Pax, together as a team counting simultaneously and cumulatively, completed workouts below at each corner, farmer’s carrying block between each point.
Corner 1) 100 Kettle Bells
Corner 2) 200 Rows
Corner 3) 300 Curls
Corner 4) 400 Block Press
Yes, we had some mules with us this morning, one being False Start. Killed it. He and Blue Ball were done and commenced to go back to station 3 and help a brother. In the end, some did more reps than others, lending that helping hand, but we all finished as a group and it hurt. Pax then carried blocks back to the Zone and stacked ’em.
Next addition to this snotwoggler: Line up on line “A” (between the 2 placed cones) and face line “B” (2 other cones about 40 yards out). This is OYO, AYG.
Line “A”: 3 Derkins
Sprint to otherside
Line “B”: 9 Burpees
Karaoke back.
Rinse and Repeat, 3x. When done, plank for 6.
AT this point there was 10 minutes left on the clock. YHC decided to NOT go ahead with the next planned workout…it would have been BRUTAL. Maybe another time. YHC calls pax to Sprint back to #ShovelFlag. Pacer, always in the front, pulls over quick, like Jimmy Johnson hitting pit row, holding onto his hamstringer. “You okay?!” “Yeah man, I’m good.”

1) YHC challenged men to be just that, REAL MEN. To many grown males in our world who are no more men than 3 year old toddlers. These points are NOT original with YHC. What does being a man look like? Here are 5 points that should play a part in your daily lives that help you determine, “Am I a real man?”
1. Step Up– LEAD. Hate Apathy. Reject Passivity. No greater place for most of us than to effect this truth in our homes, with our families.
2. Speak Out– Fear God, not man. Speak the Truth and always in love. To be silent in the midst of sin, is a sin.
3. Stand Strong– When you’re challenged on what you know is good and right, don’t back down. Giving up is NOT an option.
4. Stay Humble– Pride is a KILLER. # 1 among men. Be vigilant against pride. 1 Peter “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
5. Serve the King– Christ is king. Serve Him by serving others.
2) May 20-21, Dads and 2.0 overnight at Connie Maxwell Farm. Boy George is asking for 4 or 5 guys to step up and help with the meal prep. M’s will join us for lunch on the 21st.
3) Relay for Life. Go to there website, there is a link for F3 to play a part in this in May.
4) Connie Maxwell mud run is April 9th. SIgn Up. For some pax this will be a great “starter” to help you know what to expect for the USMC mud run April 30th.
5) USMC Mud Run April 30th. Get your teams together now!
6) #TheAssault is March 12. Be there! $5 buys lunch.
Praise: Thumper did NOT break his ankle. Sugar’s and M’s new 2.0!
Prayers: Thumper gallbladder issues. Smokey’s wife is dealing with migraines and is pretty miserable. Blue Ball’s colleague’s young son is dying of cancer. Pray for them! Uncle Buck’s mother-in-law is dying. Mac and Cheese, keep him in your prayers.
