F3 Greenwood

The Sad Clowns in Greenwood continue to gravitate toward the solution and prove that #AdditionByDivision works regardless of how much those around us say it’s crazy! The Shipyard in its second workout had 29 PAX take the #RedPill and post. A total of 7 FNGS have posted at the new AO, prompting #Mumblechatter of more #ElStarfishio during plank-o-rama!

Conditions – 72 and ridiculously muggy

Name-O-Rama

Welcome two FNGs: Roundup (Wyatt Thompson) and Doogie Houser (Jasen Rowles)!

Announcements/Prayer Requests

  • Baby Blue’s 82-year-old father had surgery on Monday and is recovering. Prayers for continued recovery and that he can come home from the hospital on Friday, as scheduled.
  • A coworker of Flossy has a husband who was recently diagnosed with cancer. He begins the process of scans and assessments today to determine the next course of action.
  • Papa Smurf has a friend who had spot discovered on his brain.
  • Bean is having blood work done today. Fortunately, no finger waging will take place, but prayers for a clean bill of health. Since Mr. Bean is an accountant, YHC is certain the “bill” part will be taken care of!

Moleskin

  • The PAX of F3 Greenwood continue to show up and show out! Keeping working those EHs, men, and let’s hit 60 PAX between the two AOs next week!
  • #TClaps to Flossy for picking up Roundup and encouraging through the finish after a little merlot splash action.
  • For some reason, YHC has someone splash the merlot every time he Qs a workout. It usually occurs when the sun starts coming up and the PAX can YHS’s face. There may be a correlation there since YHC has a face made for radio.
  • There is a glow run Saturday night to benefit United Way. Kobayashi has some details. Check Twitter later for a registration link.
  • The Fight Like Wyatt 5K is coming up on Sep. 19 at Woodmont High School. It is $25 to pre-register and get a t-shirt. Wyatt was a perfectly normal 7-month-old baby one day and woke up paralyzed from the chest down the next day. He is the youngest person to ever push himself in a wheelchair and a true inspiration to everyone he comes in contact with. The 5K raises money for his therapy which has helped him begin the process of walking again. Register here: http://go-greenevents.com/event/id/4719
  • There is a fundraiser going in Abbeville this weekend that includes a cornhole tournament. Papa Smurf has the 411 and check Twitter alter for more info.
  • The USMC Mud Run is Oct. 24. This is the Super Bowl (only muddier) of F3. Get your teams together! • GREAT job today, men! Remember, leadership starts in the home. We all love to lead in the community and it comes easier than leading in the home, but we are called to lead our families first. Be that man today!
