What do you want? Do you want to be more healthy? Do you want to be a better husband? Do you want to run a half marathon? Do you want to look good in the mirror? Do you want a better job? Do you want to conquer some fear?
When do you plan on doing what you want? Some day? Some day isn’t on the calendar.
Write it down, set a goal. Don’t just dream. Then put a plan into action and DO something.
Whether its fitness, fellowship, or faith based goals you are looking to reach – F3 can be that catalyst and action plan to help you change.

1st F

Dictionary result for modify
/ˈmädəˌfī/
verb make partial or minor changes to (something), typically so as to improve it or to make it less extreme.
The 1stF is all about staying fit. Unfortunately, we don’t start our journey of fitness in our strongest state. We have to train movements over and over until we become stronger or faster. Sometimes we just aren’t strong enough to perform a certain exercise. In this case, it is perfectly acceptable to modify the movement to make it easier to perform. Over time, the modification will allow you to perform the movement in its entirety. Don’t be ashamed to modify an exercise just because other PAX aren’t modifying. It’s not worth getting injured. Execute proper form first. Speed will come. Quality over quantity. Get the most from your time in the gloom!
2nd F
In F3 Greenwood, the PAX (brothers) have several opportunities to find fellowship. We gather at Starbucks for #Coffeeteria immediately after each workout and run (M-F, and Sunday.) Following Boot Camp on Saturdays, we gather at Howard’s on Main for #Coffeeteria and Breakfast. On Fridays, we meet for lunch at Mig’s at 12:15 p.m.
We also serve the Men of the Pathway House dinner,at 6:00 pm, the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
In February we had 29 total PAX for 2nd F lunches and 8 PAX at the Pathway House. March will bring the P200, Ales to Trails, and a Genetic Center 5K.
The 2nd F is what bonds us together and makes the memories. Commit to more 2ndF in March and you’ll be better for it!
3rd F
Third F channel continues to be a blessing to me and I pray others as well. Jesus sums up our reasonability’s as to love God and ove others (Mark 12:30-31). One of the best ways we show love to our fellow PAX is to pray for them. It is a privilege on the 3rd F channel and during COT is for men to share their needs. When we hear the request it then becomes a responsibility for us to pray for them. There is scarcely any greater way to demonstrate love than to pray for someone. The prophet Samuel was asked by the people to “Please pray for us.” His response was: “As for me, far be it from me that I sin against God by failing to pray for you” (1Sam.12:23). Failing to pray for his people he said was a sin. So, let us not merely hear the request of fellow PAX, but give attention to pray for and support them. Our prayers may and should move us into concrete action to be a blessing them! So continue to “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” 1 Cor 16:13. Hulk has smashed!
Thanks for the reminder! I hate I will miss you Friday. Weather permitting the wife and I will get some miles hiking at Table Rock!
Epicenter
Epicenter continues to see solid numbers despite the cold and the wet. Hope for these numbers to start to increase as the temps increase. Would love to see more PAX step up and Q at the Epicenter. It’s a great place to get that first one under your belt and to hone your skills as a Q. So, don’t be afraid and jump right in, YHC is more than happy to CoQ with you when needed.

Congrats to those who completed the challenge: Garvo, Tweeter, and Polly. (That means 15 failed to reached the goal. That not a very good percentage). For all who failed, do not fret, the next version (FuryFest 2019) is upon us and will go through the end of 2019.

Don’t fall victim to the feared “Fartsack Alert” GIF. I am awarding bonus and make up points so do not get discouraged if you miss a week here and there. Stick with it. You’ll be better for it. Spring and Summer are around the corner and you need to be in tip top shape.
February saw 6 different guys step up and Q. A big shout out to Pacer, Southern Belle, Juggs, and BenGay for delivering the goods. Let’s see it more often.

R.E.D. Friday
February was another wet month. However, that did not stop the pax from coming out and taking advantage of the RedFriday workouts. We have a consistent group of pax that push each other to get better. We are ready for the runners to come back and join us. P200 is almost here.
We had a fresh face grab a Q this month. Thank you to Bengay for stepping up to grab a q when RedFriday needed someone. We would aslo like to thank the others that Q’d this month (Sour, Mary-Anne and Juggernaut). We are still looking for guys to step up and Q the workouts. Put your name on the Q sheet or HC for a workout. REDFriday would love to have you.
Runs
#tclaps to the 4 teams from F3Greenwood for completing the Dam2Dam relay in February. The Zone5Buzzards brought home some hardware. Good work men!Training continues from the Starbucks AO for the P200 and Ville to Ville relays.
Shipyard
Winter is hopefully on its way out which hopefully means the PAX of F3Greenwood will begin to pack out the boot camp AO’s again. Shipyard #s have been steady and it’s been good to see some of the Epicenter faithful make their way across town and posting. Also good to see different guys stepping out of their comfort zone and leading workouts. Keep up the good work.

Terrapin
Terrapin is coming into March with high expectations. As the weather is becoming milder and spring on the way. We have several regular paxs that will start training for the Asheville Spartan this summer, so we will start having Spartan inspired workouts on Mondays. If you are interested in doing a Spartan or just want to see what it takes. Come out and post at the turtle.
